Backend Engineer

Syntrace builds conversational knowledge for institutional investors. We capture, organize and synthesize private conversations into source-backed knowledge a firm can build on.

We are now hiring a Backend Engineer, based in Stockholm.

You will work in a small senior team where you own your work end to end. Our users trust us with the most sensitive conversations they have. That makes security part of the product, not a feature on top of it.

What you bring:

• Several years building production backend systems at a fast-growing company.

• Strong Python, with FastAPI and PostgreSQL as a plus.

• Experience with event-driven architectures, real-time systems or both.

What you get:

• A founding role with real ownership.

• A senior team that has scaled companies before.

• Hard problems where reliability and security are the product.

To apply, send a short note to [email protected] about yourself.

If you know someone who should read this, send it to them.
