Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to build secure, scalable, and reliable backend services for enterprise and digital applications.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Frontend Developers, Data Engineers, DevOps, Cloud Engineers, QA, and business teams to deliver solutions supporting Digital Transformation, Manufacturing, Cloud, Data, and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and REST APIs.
• Implement business logic, authentication, authorization, and data processing.
• Integrate with internal and external systems such as ERP, SAP, databases, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize queries and application performance.
• Develop applications for cloud and container environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams on CI/CD, Docker, monitoring, and deployment.
• Apply secure coding practices, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and RBAC.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance problems.
• Participate in the full SDLC, Agile/Scrum, technical design, documentation, and deployment.
• Support modernization, automation, Data/AI, and enterprise digital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of Backend Development experience.
• Strong experience with at least one backend technology:
  Python/FastAPI, Node.js/TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, or C#/.NET.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL and Git.
• Experience with Microservices
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL technologies.
• Experience with Cloud based preferably Azure.
• Understanding of Docker, CI/CD, Linux, monitoring, and logging.
• Understanding of software engineering practices such as clean code, design patterns, security, and scalable application design.

Nice to Have

• Experience Event-driven Architecture, Message Queues , or Webhooks.

• Experience with Azure services, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with manufacturing, ERP/SAP, supply chain, or enterprise systems.

• Understanding of DevSecOps and application security.

• Experience supporting AI/ML, Data Analytics, Power BI, or Data Platforms.
