Backend Engineer Intern – Laravel

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Backend Engineer Interns who are interested in building web applications and developing their skills in backend development. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates who have a basic understanding of programming concepts and are eager to learn and work on real-world projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Write basic database queries and work with MySQL.
• Assist in implementing business logic, validation rules, and authentication mechanisms.
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance under the guidance of senior developers.
• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or currently in the final stages of completing the degree.
• Basic knowledge of PHP, object-oriented programming (OOP), and web development concepts.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Basic knowledge of MySQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Laravel through academic projects, personal projects, or internships.
• Familiarity with MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, migrations, and Laravel routing.
• Basic understanding of API authentication and integration.

Note: Experience with Laravel is a plus but is not mandatory for candidates with a strong foundation in PHP and a willingness to learn
