Backend Engineer (Mid–Senior) — Forex CRM Platform

• Develop and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and business logic using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build backend features for CRM, customer management, onboarding, KYC, trading accounts, deposits, withdrawals, and transaction workflows.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, migrations, and transactions.
• Ensure data consistency, financial precision, validation, and secure handling of sensitive information.
• Integrate internal services and third-party APIs, handling errors, timeouts, retries, webhooks, and duplicate requests.
• Implement asynchronous processing, background workers, scheduled jobs, and messaging workflows.
• Use Redis for caching, sessions, and other appropriate use cases.
• Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, and application-level security controls.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with appropriate unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, estimations, and troubleshooting.
• Identify technical risks and blockers early, and take ownership of features from requirements through testing and release.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA, senior engineers, and Product teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Understand requirements, clarify ambiguities, and identify edge cases before implementation.
• Break down features into manageable tasks and provide realistic estimates.
• Follow established architecture, coding standards, and security practices.
• Investigate root causes, communicate risks and blockers early, and contribute constructively to code reviews.
• Take ownership of assigned features through implementation, testing, and release.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience with Bun, Elysia, Drizzle Kit, NATS/JetStream, ClickHouse, OpenTelemetry, XState, TypeBox, or Zod.
• Experience with S3-compatible storage, Docker, CI/CD, and distributed or service-oriented systems.
• Experience with background processing, scheduled jobs, and event-driven architectures.
• Background in forex, brokerage, fintech, banking, payments, or financial CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with MT4/MT5 integrations, trading accounts, customer management, KYC/AML, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, balances, fees, and reconciliation.
• Experience with multi-currency applications and CRM lead management, sales, or customer-service workflows.
