Backend Engineering

📌 Job DescriptionAbout The Company Redient Security is a fast-scaling cybersecurity startup protecting enterprise SaaS and cloud-native environments. We build high-performance backend systems that process billions of security events daily to ensure resilience, low latency, and global compliance. Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services using Go and Python.
• Power our core threat intelligence engine and compliance automation platform.
• Optimize API performance and data flow across microservices and Kafka streams.
• Handle high-throughput workloads using event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with security teams to build scalable rules engines and anomaly scoring pipelines.
• Implement secure authentication, RBAC, and audit logging using OAuth2, JWT, and OpenPolicyAgent.
• Deploy infrastructure via Terraform and Helm on AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Manage SRE practices including observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)

• Strong programming experience in Go or Python
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC
• Data streaming experience with Apache Kafka
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS cloud services
• System monitoring and observability using Prometheus

Preferred Skills (Good To Have)

• Experience with OpenPolicyAgent (OPA) or Chaos Mesh
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
