Backend PHP Developer (Laravel)

We are seeking talented and motivated Backend PHP Developers (Laravel) at both Mid and Senior levels to join our dynamic team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time member, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems using the Laravel framework.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and implement complex backend systems and APIs using Laravel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide support for production systems.
• Continuously improve and optimise existing systems and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 3 - 5 years of solid working experience in backend development with Laravel.
• Required skill(s): PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
• Optional skills: NextJS.
• Possess strong skills in application design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in programming and system analysis are a must.
• Some team-leading capabilities are highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to guide junior developers and make key technical decisions.
