Job Title Backend Process Engineer

Role

• Process Design & Optimization: Develop and refine processes for grinders, dicing saw machines
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and troubleshoot grinding to maintain efficiency and precision
• Quality Control: Monitor and adjust grinding parameters to meet engineering specifications and reduce defects
• Tooling & Fixture Management: Select, prepare, and maintain grinding tools and fixtures to ensure repeatability and accuracy
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues such as tool wear, dimensional variation, or machine downtime
• Documentation & Compliance: Follow safety protocols; maintain records of process changes and quality results

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in metrology, and machine tool operation.
• Demonstrate strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Attention to Detail: Critical for meeting tight tolerances in precision grinding.
• Mathematical Skills: For calculating grinding parameters and tolerances.
• Proficient in Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control methodologies.

Preferred Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend process in Wafer Fab / Equipment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for result
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Regarded as the technical expert in Unit Process and Wafer Fab operations
