Role Overview

We are looking for a backend-oriented Python developer with strong experience in Python, Django/Flask, REST APIs, and relational databases.

Strong backend and database fundamentals are the priority. Experience with React or Angular is required, while exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies is an added advantage.

Must-Have Skills

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Experience with Django / Flask / Django REST Framework
• Strong understanding of Backend Development & REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL / MS SQL / MySQL
• Strong SQL knowledge – joins, indexing, database design & optimization
• Hands-on experience with React or Angular
• Proficiency with Git
• Understanding of SDLC, debugging, testing & code quality
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Willingness to work in a Night Shift

Good to Have

• Generative AI / LLM application exposure
• OpenAI / Azure OpenAI API integration
• RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, embeddings or vector databases
• FastAPI / Flask
• Docker / containerization
• Microsoft Azure
• GraphQL / Microservices
• CI/CD practices

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable Python backend applications
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
• Write clean, reusable and maintainable Python code
• Design and optimize database queries, schemas and integrations
• Collaborate with React/Angular frontend developers
• Troubleshoot issues and improve backend performance, reliability and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards
• Write unit and integration tests
• Work with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement
