The Back-fill Engineer is responsible for seamlessly taking ownership of existing applications, services, and engineering responsibilities to ensure business continuity and delivery stability. This role involves understanding the current system landscape, maintaining and enhancing applications, resolving production issues, supporting ongoing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skillset:
Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake
- Azure Cloud Services, Azure SQL DB, Azure Functions, Key Vault, DevOps
- Airflow, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, ServiceNow, Incident Management
- Nice to have: AI/GenAI: Prompt Engineering, LLM Fine-Tuning, RAG
- Experience level: 7+ working in Azure data processing pipelines and Snowflake
