Duties

• Assist with unloading shipments using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safe lifting practices at all times
• Stock shelves with produce, packaged goods, and retail store products while maintaining accurate inventory control
• Operate RF scanners to track inventory movement efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the storage areas to promote safety and efficiency
• Support inventory management by conducting regular stock checks, updating records, and reporting discrepancies
• Prepare products for display or shipment by packaging items carefully according to store standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely loading and unloading of shipments, supporting shipping & receiving operations
• Use communication skills effectively to coordinate with team members across various warehouse operations
• Assist in merchandising efforts to ensure products are well-presented and accessible for customers
• Follow safety protocols during manual handling, heavy lifting, and operation of warehouse equipment

Requirements

• Prior warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred; familiarity with inventory control systems is a plus
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stock management and product placement
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse customer needs
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Basic math skills for inventory counting, pricing, and transaction support
• Knowledge of retail sales processes, merchandising standards, and customer service principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
