Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with the check-in and check-out of their luggage or personal items at the designated bag drop area
• Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and secure storage of all guest belongings using POS systems and manual record-keeping methods
• Maintain a high level of guest service by answering questions, providing directions, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, including manual handling techniques, heavy lifting procedures, and adherence to security measures
• Manage cash transactions accurately when processing payments for bag storage or related services
• Collaborate with event staff to coordinate guest flow and address any conflicts or concerns efficiently
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bag drop area, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff

Experience

• Prior experience in events management or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to handle conflict management with tact and professionalism
• Experience working with children or in family-friendly venues is a plus
• Familiarity with retail sales, cash handling, POS systems, and basic math skills for transaction processing
• Knowledge of safety protocols including CPR, first aid, lifeguard experience, or outdoor work experience enhances your suitability for this role
• Background in food service, resort operations, theater production, or outdoor event settings is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with excellent public speaking abilities to engage confidently with diverse audiences

Pay: $14.00 - $28.27 per hour
