About Ruby’s Bagels

Ruby’s Bagels is a small, locally owned bagel shop making fresh, hand-rolled bagels every day. We started out of a food truck and have grown into a busy brick-and-mortar shop.

We care about making a great product, keeping a good work environment, and having a team we can depend on.

• We’re looking for a reliable baker to join our team and help with our daily bagel production.
• This is a hands-on, fast-paced position. You’ll be mixing dough, rolling, boiling, helping with dishes, and baking bagels while making sure our product stays consistent every day.

The schedule is

Wednesday 3pm-10pm

Thursday-Saturday 3pm-10pm

The role

Mix and prepare bagel dough

Help roll, boil, and bake bagels

Help prep cream cheese

Follow recipes and production standards

Keep quality and consistency on point

Keep your workspace clean and organized

Help organize ingredients and supplies

Work with the baking and kitchen team to finish daily production on time

What We’re Looking For

Baking or commercial kitchen experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person

Reliable and on time this is especially important with our production schedule

Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the shift

Good communication and able to work as part of a team

Someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to the little things

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
