Duties

• Prepare dough and ingredients following specific recipes to produce consistent, high-quality bagels and baked goods
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, toasters, and slicing machines safely and efficiently
• Package baked products securely for sale or delivery while maintaining food safety standards
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about products, and provide friendly service to enhance the customer experience
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; notify management when stock needs replenishing

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety management practices
• Skilled in using kitchen tools such as knives for dough shaping and cake decorating techniques
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to baking procedures for consistent results
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume production efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
