Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport baggage using appropriate equipment such as baggage carts and dollies, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage baggage tracking systems to ensure accurate handling and timely delivery of luggage to aircraft or designated areas.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure operational readiness.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate baggage movements and airport ramp activities efficiently.
• Follow all federal aviation regulations, security procedures, and safety guidelines during outdoor work at the airfield.
• Assist with materials handling, heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and outdoor work activities necessary for smooth baggage operations.

Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Prior experience in baggage handling, airport ramp operations, or logistics is highly desirable.
• Strong management skills with supervisory or team leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in outdoor conditions.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to safety protocols, compliance with security regulations, and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of aviation safety standards such as Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) is advantageous.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with clear communication abilities; experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is beneficial.

Pay: $16.90 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
