Schedule: 6 days on, 3 days off (Rotational shifts)(earlies, lates & nights)

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Baggage Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely handling of passengers' luggage, ensuring a smooth and pleasant travel experience. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties

• Loading and unloading baggage from belt systems and carts
• Sorting luggage to correct flights and terminals
• Transferring baggage between airport zones
• Managing baggage disruptions and clearing belt blockages
• Supporting passengers at baggage reclaim when required
• Ensuring compliance with airport security procedures
• Completing basic reporting when necessary
• Working as part of a ground operations team

This role involves lifting luggage up to 32kg and standing for extended periods.

Schedule

• 6 days on, 3 days off
• Rotational early and late shifts
• Early shifts from 04:00
• Late shifts finishing up to 22:00 or 05:00

Flexibility is required as the airport operates 24/7.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling
• Strong communication skills
• Team-oriented and reliable
• Right to work in the UK FULL TIME
• PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) issued in the UK
• DBS issued within the last 3 months
• 5-year checkable history
• Ability to obtain a Heathrow Blue ID Pass
