Position Type: Full-Time

Hours:

DAYSHIFT | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

*Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand.

• Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

MIDNIGHTS | Monday – Thursday | 7:00PM to 5:30AM [4 tens]

*Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand.

• Pay: $19-$20 per hour (includes shift differential)

JOB SUMMARY

The Automated Bagging Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated bagging equipment used to package products. This role ensures that finished materials are accurately weighed, properly sealed, labeled, and prepared for storage or shipment. The operator works closely with production teams to maintain continuous workflow, minimize downtime, and meet production targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Effectively navigate and input information through company software to print and label the products and packaging accordingly.
• Effectively count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders.
• Perform and document routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning according to safety and quality standards

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED
• Six plus months' work-related experience or training

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Forklift Operator License

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and the job sites can be loud.

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 40 pounds daily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
