Baker & Pastry Chefs

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and creative Bakery & Pastry Chef to join our team. We specialize in producing high-quality cakes, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in creating beautiful, delicious products while maintaining consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, decorate, and finish a variety of cakes according to company recipes and standards.
• Handle cake frosting, filling, layering, piping, and basic fondant work.
• Ensure cakes are consistently presented to a high standard.
• Prepare ingredients and cake components for daily production.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with food safety standards.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and report stock requirements.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Work closely with the team to meet daily production schedules and customer orders.
• Assist in developing new cake flavours and designs when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bakery or Pastry Chef is preferred.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, cakes preparation, and cakes production.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing high-quality baked goods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts when required.
• Culinary or pastry certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
