Baker and Shift Lead

Responsibilities Leadership & Shift Management

• Lead shifts effectively by keeping team members organized, productive, and on task.
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate expectations clearly and hold team members accountable for their responsibilities.
• Complete team standard checks to ensure employees are following Creamworx procedures and expectations.
• Maintain Creamworx standards for customer service, product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and shop presentation.
• Lead by example through a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Help train, support, and guide team members to ensure everyone understands their responsibilities.
• Handle challenges calmly and professionally while keeping the team focused and productive.
• Ensure the shop maintains a happy, welcoming environment for every customer and team member.

Daily Operations & Shop Standards

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service
• Operate the register and process customer orders accurately.
• Assist with daily baking responsibilities, including cookies, brownies, and other baked goods.
• Help ensure all products meet Creamworx quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain inventory by monitoring product levels, communicating supply needs, and helping ensure ingredients and supplies are stocked appropriately.
• Ensure all workspaces, equipment, counters, and customer areas remain clean and organized.
• Help prepare the shop for opening, maintain standards throughout the shift, and ensure everything is properly completed at closing.

Additional Skills & Earning Opportunities

Shift Leaders may have the opportunity to learn additional skills and take on extra responsibilities, such as icecream making and social media, for opportunities to earn additional pay.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid driver's license and food handler's permit.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to take initiative without constant supervision.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to keeping the shop clean and running smoothly.
• Able to delegate tasks, manage time, and keep team members on track during busy shifts.
• A positive attitude and the ability to remain professional under pressure.
• Willingness to hold yourself and others accountable to Creamworx standards.
• A team player who is willing to help wherever needed.
• Previous leadership, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
