About the role

You'll help prepare and produce a wide range of fresh food in a fast paced environment where every day brings variety and the opportunity to develop your skills. You'll work alongside a welcoming team in a busy, supportive local bakery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pies, sausage rolls and savouries
• Prepare and produce catering and large orders
• General food preparation and production

About you

• Reliable, punctual and ready to contribute
• Hard working, motivated and enthusiastic
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
• Clean, organised and efficient
• Friendly and able to work well with others
• Willing to learn, take direction and develop new skills
• Proud of the food they produce
• Interested in a genuine long term career opportunity
• Commercial kitchen, café, catering or food production experience will be highly regarded. However, experience is not essential for an apprentice applicant with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
