Baker Assistant & Customer Service

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and energetic Baker Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate has baking experience, customer-service skills, and a strong work ethic. This is an active role in a busy café environment, and we need someone who is comfortable staying on their feet and working hard throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily baking and food preparation
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality
• Prepare, portion, package, and display baked goods
• Serve customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Take orders and process payments
• Assist with coffee and café duties when needed
• Keep the bakery and café clean and organized
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, restock supplies, and assist with closing duties
• Follow food-safety and hygiene procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous baking or bakery experience
• Customer-service experience is an asset
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work hard
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Comfortable standing and working for extended periods
• Able to lift, carry, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Able to work efficiently during busy periods
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and quality
