Baker Associate - Tous Les Jours Sunway Pyramid

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, shape, proof, and bake breads, pastries, and other bakery products according to company recipes and standards.
• Ensure all bakery products meet the required quality, taste, texture, and presentation standards.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking and production processes to ensure consistency and product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout the bakery area.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of ingredients and bakery supplies.
• Assist with daily bakery preparation, production, and stock management.
• Follow company SOPs, food safety guidelines, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support the Head Baker and bakery team in daily operations.
• Perform other bakery-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in baking, pastry, or bakery production is preferred.
• Candidates with a relevant baking/pastry qualification are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in baking may also be considered.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Able to work in a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work well in a team.
