Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and specialty desserts with precision and creativity
• Decorate cakes and pastries using professional cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products
• Follow established recipes and food safety guidelines to ensure consistent quality and hygiene standards
• Assist with food handling, packaging, and presentation to maintain freshness and attract customers
• Support the kitchen team in food preparation tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about baked goods and offering recommendations when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, or working within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knowledge of food handling safety procedures and kitchen hygiene standards
• Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and bakery operations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
• Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes is preferred
