Baker

We are looking for a passionate and reliable baker to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of fresh breads, pastries, and baked goods daily. The ideal candidate maintains high standards of quality and cleanliness, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of items, including breads, cakes, cookies, and seasonal pastries, following established recipes.

• Monitor oven temperatures and ingredient quality to ensure consistent, high-quality results.

• Manage daily production schedules to ensure fresh products are ready for opening.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all health and safety regulations.

• Assist with inventory management, including tracking ingredient levels and notifying management of supply needs.

• Collaborate with the team to develop new seasonal specials or improve existing recipes.

• Provide friendly service to customers when working the counter or explaining our products.

Requirements and Skills

• Previous experience in a professional bakery or kitchen environment is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and food safety standards.

• Ability to work early morning shifts (starting as early as 4:00 AM).

• A keen eye for detail and a passion for consistent quality.

• Strong time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Comfort working in an environment with varying temperatures.

Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour
