About the role

You will be involved in the daily preparation and production of doughnuts at JHOII Doughnuts, a bakery creating doughnuts made with quality ingredients, thoughtful techniques and a focus on flavour, texture and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and mixing dough
• Fermentation and proofing
• Shaping, frying and finishing doughnuts
• Preparing fillings, glazes and toppings
• Following and refining recipes and production methods
• Maintaining consistent quality, texture and presentation
• Managing preparation and production timing
• Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe kitchen
• Working with the team on new flavours and product development

About you

• Has professional baking, bakery or relevant kitchen experience
• Has a good understanding of dough and fermentation
• Is confident working with recipes, measurements and production processes
• Has strong attention to detail and consistency
• Is clean, organised and reliable
• Enjoys learning, experimenting and improving
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Takes pride in the quality of what they make
• Experience making doughnuts, enriched doughs or other fermented products is an advantage, but not essential
