Baker

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent quality and presentation
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately
• Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, frostings, and other components
• Operate and maintain baking equipment safely
• Keep the kitchen and work area clean, organized, and sanitary
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality
• Assist with inventory and proper storage of ingredients
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Help develop new products and seasonal baked goods when needed

Qualifications:

• Previous baking experience preferred
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift baking supplies when needed

Experience with artisan breads, pastries, cakes, or specialty desserts is a plus.
