Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, following established recipes and quality standards
• Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to support daily kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality and consistency
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate food preparation schedules and meet customer demand
• Follow all safety procedures related to kitchen equipment and food handling practices
• Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs

Experience

• Previous experience in food production, baking, or culinary environments is preferred ; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Experience working in a bakery or fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and precision

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
