Tandem is hiring a full time Baker. A qualified applicant will have at least 1 year of commercial bakery experience--culinary school is a bonus but not a substitute or requirement. The position is 5 days a week, one weekend day required, starting at 6am for 40 hours per week. Pay starts at $19, based on experience. You should have experience and be comfortable with the following:

-mixing cake and cookie batters from scratch

-mixing and baking yeasted breads

-recipes primarily based on weights, not volume

-maintaining a high standard of consistency and quality in a large volume of baked goods

-standing for 8-10 hours a day

-lifting 50 lb at a time

-working cleanly, efficiently and safely

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.90 per hour
