Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, desserts, and pastries with attention to detail and presentation.
• Decorate cakes and confections using various techniques to create visually stunning products.
• Assist in food production, including mixing, baking, portioning, and packaging items for sale or service.
• Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Support catering events or restaurant service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and pastry tools.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with custom orders or menu items.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts; culinary or kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
• Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Experience working in the food industry, including restaurants or catering environments.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with baking tools and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
