Baker / Prep Cook – Salted Butter Company (Pasadena, CA)

We are a growing artisanal bakery and coffee shop in Pasadena, and we’re looking for a Baker / Croissant roller/prep baker to join our team. Our ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and passionate about quality pastries and food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily baking, prep, and production of pastries, breads, and other menu items
• Follow recipes and maintain consistency in product quality
• Laminate pastries
• Shape croissants
• Prep ingredients, measure, mix, and organize daily production needs
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, and stocking supplies
• Support the kitchen team with various tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous baking or kitchen prep experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Early morning availability
• PM availability

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time or part-time shifts available
• Early morning shifts required (starting as early as 3:30–4:00 AM)
• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) + tip pool
