Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a diverse range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and decorating tools
• Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using various cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols
• Package baked items carefully for retail display or catering orders while ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met
• Assist in food production tasks such as dough preparation, pastry assembly, and food handling to support high-volume output
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Experience

• Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation within a high-volume food production environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures in the food industry
• Skilled in cake decorating, dough preparation, and operating various kitchen equipment with precision
• Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency across baked goods
• Previous catering or food service experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory effectively
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques related to baking and food presentation
