Job Overview

Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake is hiring full-time Bakers for our Yonge & Sheppard locations.

No prior baking experience is required — training is provided for candidates who are motivated and reliable.

This is a permanent, year-round position in a fast-paced bakery environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and bake bakery products following company standards
• Assist with ingredient preparation, stocking, and packaging
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
• Support opening and closing shifts as scheduled
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Food Handler Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Experience in baking, food service, or food production
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time: 40 hours per week (minimum 5 days)
• Part-time positions available
• Shifts range from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Physical Requirement

• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 25 kg
• Comfortable working in a warm, fast-paced environment
