Full-Time Cake & Pastry Baker — Four Seasons Market

Four Seasons Market is currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Cake & Pastry Baker to join our team in a full-time position.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a bakery environment, takes pride in producing high-quality products, and is comfortable preparing a variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts. We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain consistent quality in a busy work environment.

Position Overview

As a Cake & Pastry Baker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, assembling, and finishing a variety of bakery products. You will help ensure that products are fresh, attractive, consistent, and prepared according to store standards.

Typical duties may include:

• Preparing and baking cakes, pastries, desserts, and other bakery items
• Mixing doughs, batters, creams, fillings, and other bakery components
• Assembling and finishing cakes and pastries
• Decorating and presenting products neatly and professionally
• Following recipes, preparation methods, and production standards
• Monitoring baking times, temperatures, freshness, and product quality
• Preparing bakery items according to daily production needs
• Keeping ingredients, supplies, and bakery equipment organized
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary bakery work area
• Properly storing ingredients and finished products
• Monitoring inventory and informing management when supplies are needed
• Following food-safety and sanitation procedures
• Working efficiently to complete production on schedule
• Assisting coworkers and management with bakery-related tasks as needed

This is a hands-on position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable performing different bakery duties and helping wherever needed within the department.

Qualifications

Successful candidates should have:

• Previous cake, pastry, or bakery experience
• Experience preparing cakes and pastries from start to finish
• Knowledge of basic baking techniques and bakery equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organization and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependability and good work habits
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy bakery environment
• Authorization to legally work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Fluency in Russian
• Basic conversational English

Experience in a bakery, pastry shop, supermarket bakery, restaurant, or similar food-production environment is preferred.
