Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections
• Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs using professional cake decorating techniques
• Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety standards and regulations
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas to meet health standards
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and decorating tools
• Package finished products carefully for retail display or delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen experience including food industry familiarity is preferred
• Basic cooking skills and experience with food packaging are advantageous
• A passion for baking, creativity in decorating, and dedication to quality craftsmanship are essential
