What they need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Baker (1-3 years preferred)
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays
- Strong attention to details and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Creativity in developing new recipes
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately
- Operate ovens, mixers and other baking equipment safely
- Decorate baked goods as required
- Monitor baking times and temperatures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products
- Assist in inventory monitoring and ordering supplies
