Days Off: 4 weekdays off per month and 2 Sundays off per month

About the Role

Our client, a baking business located in Lekki, Lagos, is seeking a skilled and creative Baker with 2–3 years of practical baking experience. The ideal candidate should be passionate about baking, attentive to detail, and capable of preparing quality cakes and pastries while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

The successful candidate must be able to read and write, follow recipes and instructions, and work efficiently in a professional baking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, bake, and decorate cakes and a variety of pastries.

Follow recipes and accurately measure ingredients to ensure consistent quality.

Prepare baking ingredients, mixtures, fillings, and toppings as required.

Ensure all baked products meet the expected standards for taste, texture, freshness, and presentation.

Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the kitchen and baking area.

Properly handle, store, and preserve ingredients and finished products.

Monitor baking equipment and ensure it is used safely and correctly.

Requirements

2–3 years of hands-on baking experience, particularly in cakes and pastries.

Ability to read and write.

Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, measurements, and recipes.

Ability to prepare a variety of cakes and pastries independently.

Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Strong hygiene, organization, and time-management skills.

Willingness to work according to the specified schedule.

Ability to follow instructions and work professionally with others.
