Position: Full Time Baker

$12/hour + tips

Location: Olala French Café – Nashville, TN

We are looking for a skilled and organized Baker to join our French café in Nashville. This role is key to ensuring high-quality pastries, smooth kitchen operations, and a consistently excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake croissants, pastries, crepe and other café items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with midday preparations and service setup to ensure a smooth lunch service
• Manage inventory: track stock levels, ensure ingredients and products are available daily, and assist with placing orders, receiving them and storage areas in an organized manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Monitor product quality consistently and ensure every item meets our standards before serving
• Work closely with front-of-house staff to coordinate service and ensure timely availability of items
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen regulations
• Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of work station and kitchen

• Must be able to prioritize and finish all tasks assigned for the daily baking
• Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste

Requirements:

• Previous experience in baking, pastry, or professional kitchen environments preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Ability to manage inventory and anticipate needs for daily service
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work early morning and midday shifts
• Passion for French baking and café culture is a plus
