Duties
As a Baker, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Ensuring all products meet quality standards for taste and presentation.
• Following recipes accurately while also being able to adjust ingredients as needed for special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assisting with catering orders and special events as required.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
• Providing excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking special orders when necessary.

Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• Previous experience in a bakery or culinary environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
• Skills in food preparation techniques, including proficiency with knives and baking equipment.
• Experience in catering is a plus but not mandatory.
• A passion for creating delicious baked goods and an eagerness to learn new techniques within the culinary field.
