Baker

The Brasserie is a fast-paced, guest-focused bar and restaurant known for quality, consistency, and a strong team culture. Our kitchen and bakery programs are growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, motivated Baker to support our morning production and help keep things running smoothly.

Position Summary

The Baking Assistant works closely with our bakery lead and management team to prepare baked goods, assist with daily production tasks, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. This role is ideal for someone who loves early mornings, enjoys routine work, and wants to grow their skills in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily baking prep, including measuring ingredients, mixing, portioning, and shaping items
• Support production of pastries, breads, and other baked goods according to Brasserie recipes
• Monitor ovens, timers, and baking schedules to ensure consistent results
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery station and equipment
• Help with inventory, labeling, storage, and rotating product (FIFO)
• Assist with receiving and putting away bakery orders
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and management team
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the AM Manager or bakery lead

Requirements

• Early morning set schedule Saturday - Sunday - Monday (shifts start at 4:30 AM) 10 hour shift avalible if interested
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
