Baker

Overview:
Groovy Duck Bakery is looking for passionate, hardworking, and detail-oriented bakers to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment, takes pride in quality products, and loves creating fresh baked goods from scratch each day.

Our team works together to produce high-quality baked goods while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, organization, and a positive attitude throughout the shift.

Products You May Work On:

• Muffins
• Cookies
• Scones
• Cakes
• Pretzels
• Seasonal and specialty bakery items

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items following recipes and production standards
• Measure, mix, shape, decorate, and finish products with consistency and attention to detail
• Operate bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, and prep tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, and equipment
• Assist with daily prep, production planning, and packaging of baked goods
• Work efficiently with the bakery team to complete production goals on time
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures at all times
• Support special orders, catering production, and seasonal menu items when needed

Qualifications:

• Previous bakery, pastry, kitchen, or food production experience preferred
• Passion for baking and creating quality products
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work early mornings and in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to lift bakery ingredients and supplies as needed (ex : 50 pound bags)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
