Baker

Loic Bakery Cafe Bar is looking for a fulltime experienced baker to join our team. If you are knowledgeable, experienced, calm, professional, that LOVES people and baked goods, then this is the place for you! Join a team of other bakers, all with technical training, that love baking from scratch! Nothing is bought or frozen; everything is from scratch.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
• Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed for optimal baking results
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules and production needs

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the food industry and culinary techniques
• Experience in food production, particularly in a bakery setting
• Proficiency in baking and baking techniques
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and mixers
• Understanding of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

Essential Physical Requirements:
· Walk and stand throughout the entire shift
· Frequently wash hands
· Regular and predictable attendance
· Read and write in English
· Must report to work in a neat, clean uniform and present a well-groomed, hygienic appearance
· The physical requirements for this position are hearing, speaking, seeing, carrying, bending,
walking, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and being able to stand
for 4 to 8 hours, or the ability to accomplish the physical requirements with or without
reasonable accommodations
