Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
• Ensure the quality of all baked items by conducting regular taste tests and visual inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, following strict food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
• Manage inventory of baking supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff on baking techniques and food safety practices.
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure optimal results for all products.

Experience

• Proven experience in food production or preparation within a professional kitchen environment is essential.
• Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is required to ensure compliance in the kitchen.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting will be considered an advantage.
• A passion for cooking and baking, along with creativity in developing new recipes, is essential for success in this role.
