Baker - Cookie Production

About the role

A hands-on production role baking our full range of cookies and baked goods to spec, working Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm — no nights, no weekends, no public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Bake dough products in line with recipes and production schedules
• Operate and monitor commercial ovens
• Check product for consistency in size, weight, colour and bake quality
• Follow food safety, hygiene and GMP procedures at all times
• Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation
• Keep the bakery, equipment and workstations clean and compliant with food safety standards
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets without compromising quality
• Report equipment faults or quality issues to the Production Supervisor promptly
• Support a safe working environment and follow WHS procedures

About you

• Previous experience as a baker or in a commercial/industrial bakery or food manufacturing environment (essential)
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP knowledge highly regarded)
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in product quality
• Own transport preferred due to the Mount Kuring-gai location
