BAKERY STAFF FIVE

2. Mastery: Deepen your knowledge of doughs, pastries, and breads, through training, education, practice, and guidance from the Head Baker and bakery team.

4. Care: Maintain a clean, organized front and back of house by following daily cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines,

Duties/Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified individual with kitchen and baking experience to join our team. Core job responsibilities include mixing doughs, fillings, and batters; dough lamination, shaping, and baking; dressing, dipping, and finishing pastries, along with other kitchen preparation

Employee needs be available on the weekends and for shifts starting between 3am-5am and ending between 10am-1pm. . Employee would bring their based experience to the role with opportunities to learn new skills from our experienced bakery team.

An added benefit for employment would be the ability to complete daily deliveries. These responsibilities would include boxing, loading, and delivering pastries. Employee would need reliable transportation, a clean license and to be responsible for their own vehicle, insurance, and, to drive safely and not under the influence. Employee would be compensated for milage + base pay

Operations

• Communicate in a clear, professional manner.
• Work in all stations of the bakery as needed: baking, prep, and dishwashing etc.
• Grow job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and materials.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards, sanitation regulations, and all proper food and beverage safety procedures as outlined by the health department.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and communicating issues.
• Work with management to improve quality results by evaluating processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the workflow.
• Stock and replenish ingredients, coffee beans, paper goods, and supplies. Assist Management with maintaining supply stock.
• Maintain a positive attitude. Treat everyone with respect, including customers, coworkers, management, and support vendors.
• Follow manager’s instructions and support operations with any special requests or initiatives.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• 2 years bakery or kitchen experience
• Food handlers card and liquor license (when applicable)
• Current driver’s license (when applicable)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
