Duties

• Prepare a wide range of baked goods, including pastries, breads, and other confections, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, slicers, and food processors
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in food handling tasks such as portioning, packaging, and labeling products for sale or catering events
• Support food production processes by measuring ingredients accurately using basic math skills
• Contribute to high-volume production efforts while maintaining consistency and quality across all items

Requirements

• Proven experience in pastry preparation, baking, or food production within the food industry or catering environment
• Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and presentation
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients
• Experience with food handling procedures, recipe adherence, and maintaining a clean workspace
• High-volume production experience preferred to meet demanding order timelines
• Good communication skills with a focus on customer service when interacting with clients or team members
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
