👨‍🍳 EXPERIENCED BAKER

We are looking for an experienced Baker who takes pride in producing quality bread and bakery products.

You'll ideally have:

• Commercial baking experience
• Knowledge of bread and dough production
• Experience with mixing, shaping, proving and baking
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy bakery
• Strong attention to detail and product quality
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

🥐 BAKER'S ASSISTANT

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop their skills in a professional bakery.

Previous bakery experience is an advantage but not essential.

You'll assist with:

• Preparing ingredients
• Dough and product preparation
• Baking and production
• Packing and presentation
• Cleaning and maintaining the bakery
• Supporting our Bakers throughout production
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures

We're looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

🎓 BAKER APPRENTICE

No experience? No problem — learn a trade and earn while you learn!

If you're interested in food, enjoy practical work and want to build a career, a Baker Apprenticeship could be the perfect opportunity.

You'll receive hands-on training while learning how to:

• Prepare and measure ingredients
• Mix and prepare dough
• Shape and mould breads and rolls
• Understand proving and fermentation
• Bake a range of quality bakery products
• Follow recipes and production processes
• Use bakery equipment safely
• Maintain consistent product quality
• Follow food safety and hygiene requirements
• Work effectively as part of a bakery team

You don't need to know how to bake. We'll teach you.

🧼 FOOD SAFETY, HYGIENE & CLEANLINESS

Food safety is a critical part of working in our bakery.

All team members are expected to:

• Maintain excellent personal hygiene
• Follow food safety and food handling procedures
• Handle and store food correctly
• Keep work areas, equipment and bakery surfaces clean
• Follow cleaning and sanitising procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised bakery
• Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Report any food safety or hygiene concerns

A strong commitment to food safety, hygiene and cleanliness is essential.

🌙 OVERNIGHT & EARLY-MORNING WORK

This is NOT a standard 9-to-5 job.

Fresh bread needs to be made while most people are asleep!

Depending on the position and roster, bakery production involves overnight/all-night shifts and very early morning starts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

You must be comfortable working through the night and/or starting very early in the morning.

Reliability is extremely important.

You will also need to have reliable transport or a practical way of getting to and from the bakery, particularly for overnight and early-morning shifts when public transport may not be available.

If you enjoy working at night and like the idea of finishing your shift while the rest of the world is just waking up, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
