Baker Team Member

PAY RATE: $15-$17 TIPS

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversee mixing and rolling of cookies, prepare the dough to be used for the day. Achieve stated objectives in food preparation, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all guests by taking orders, making recommendations when appropriate, processing payments, and serving food or beverages to customers. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation including preparing beverages and arranging food items.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote, work and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Crave. Work independently and with other team members to solve problems, fulfill orders and create amazing products.

• Evaluate dough at beginning of shift to make sure appropriate amounts are being made

• Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules of all areas of the store including storage areas

• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to restaurant’s recipes and standards.

• Ensure that all dough is prepared according to the recipe and dough is rolled and labeled for later use.

• Assist with mixing, portioning, and shaping dough to ensure consistent quality and appearance.

• Decorate baked items with icing, toppings, or other embellishments as needed for presentation and customer appeal.

• Work the counter helping customers or bake and decorate cookies.

• Package finished products carefully for sale or delivery, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience in baking, pastry arts.
Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is a plus
Strong knife skills for dough shaping and ingredient preparation
Familiarity with food safety standards in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills to assist team members or customers when needed
Basic kitchen experience including food handling, cooking, and food preparation techniques
Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is advantageous.
