Baker/Pastry Chef

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Baker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in artisanal baking, strong attention to detail, and a genuine love for creating exceptional baked goods.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and other bakery products according to recipes and quality standards
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately
• Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure consistent product quality, freshness, and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal products
• Work early mornings and weekends as required

Skills

• Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong baking skills with knowledge of various pastry techniques and methods, such as viennoiserie and sourdough.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both presentation and taste.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required.

Please note that due to the location of our production kitchen and the operational hours you must have your own transport for this position.
