POSITION OVERVIEW:

The role of the Bakery Production Cook is to participate, plan, prepare, execute and ensure that the daily execution of all production, packaging, labeling, and shipment of pastry products for the company s wholesale, catering, box lunches, and cafe daily needs, correctly executed per the guidelines, recipes and expectations of the Pastry Chef, Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES (Essential Functions):

· Produce dessert and bakery products while following recipes consistently and efficiently with little supervision.

· Complete daily prep and production of high-volume bakery products consistently and up to standards and per the directions of the pastry chef team.

· Creation and generation of all aspects of pastry products, i.e. baking, filling, coating, wrapping, labeling, packing, product inventory rotation etc.

· Clean and sanitize work area and equipment

· Assists other team members as needed and directed to ensure that ALL food is ready and out on time for delivery.

· Performs quality checking and control for all food going out under their supervision.

· Practices proper rotation of inventory and maintenance of freshness of product.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2-3 years bakery experience

· Great communication skills

· Enjoys working as part of a team

· Motivated to learn and grow

· Ability to stand in one place for hours

· Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume, and cooking procedures

· Must be able to follow the recipe

· Catering Experience preferred

SCHEDULE & Pay:

• Sunday 7am-3pm
• Monday-11am-7pm
• Tuesday-11am-7pm
• Wednesday-11am-7pm
• Thursday- 11am-7pm

On occasion we will need to change shifts or scheduled days due to business levels and production demands, so flexibility is a necessity.

$22.00/ hr plus tips
