Bakery Assistant – Keswick, ON

St. George Organic Bakery is a family-owned, local Canadian, home-based bakery in Keswick, Ontario. We are a small, welcoming and supportive team that takes pride in creating high-quality handmade products and working together in a positive, respectful environment.

As our bakery continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Bakery Assistant to join our team.

Main responsibilities include:

- Receiving and organizing deliveries

• Keeping the production and work areas clean and organized

- Weighing and preparing ingredients

• Portioning dough and products using scoops

- Assisting with packaging and general bakery production

• Following recipes, instructions and food-safety procedures

• Helping with different tasks as needed during production

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and responsible

• Learns quickly and follows instructions well

• Is flexible and willing to help wherever needed

• Works efficiently and pays attention to detail

• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team

• Is able to work independently when required

English proficiency is required, as all production instructions, recipes, labels and workplace communication are in English.

Previous bakery, kitchen or food-production experience is an asset, but not required. We are happy to train the right person.

Location: Keswick, Ontario

Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 2pm
