Bakery Assistant

A new opening has arisen in our bakery in our Award Winning Business. We are looking for someone to assist with general baking duties in a busy production kitchen. The ideal applicant will have a passion for baking and cake decoration, with experience in food preparation. Applicants should be organised, reliable, and enthusiastic about delivering high-quality products to our customers.

• Measuring and weighing wet and dry ingredients
• Preparing mixes to produce a variety of cakes, buns, desserts etc.
• Decorate cakes and baked goods according to company standards
• Assist in the preparation of baked goods, ensuring consistency and quality in presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in compliance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production
• Ensure all decorations are finished to a high standard

Essential

• Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or baking within a bakery
• Great attention to detail.
• Organisational skills.
• Flexibility with regards hours of work in line with the needs of the business
• Reliability

Worktime: Monday to Friday 6am to finish - 30-35 hours approximately

No Sundays and no evening work

Rate of pay will depend on experience.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
